The young soprano from Bethania near Llanon has just become the charity’s fourth patron. Gwawr is certainly a rising star with a fantastic voice. She graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and is now studying at the Royal Academy, London. She has won numerous National Eisteddfod prizes and has sung at many prestigious events and Dame Kiri te Kanawa chose Gwawr as one of the most exciting, up-and-coming stars.
Elisabeth Luard is a distinguished food writer, journalist and broadcaster with family experience of the importance of palliative care. She spoke movingly at the launch of our nursing service.
